He accepted a football scholarship from the University of Oklahoma and wore a red shirt in 2010. Even on the Sooners’ roster, Blake, who was the starting quarterback behind Landry Jones, finished the game with 13 touchdowns. and 171 yards on 44 rushing attempts. After rushing 10 times for 51 yards and three touchdowns, Blake was named MVP of the 2011 Insight Bowl.
