Colin Cowherd is a US sports media representative who currently hosts ESPN Radio and He hosts The Herd with Collin Cowherd on ESPNU. He co-hosted the ESPN2 show Sports Nation with Michelle Beadle and later Carissa Thompson.

In September 2015, he joined FOX Sports and Premier Networks as a television, radio and digital personality. A native of Grayland, Washington, Cowherd graduated from Eastern University of Washington in 1985, where he began his career in the broadcasting industry.

In 2013 and 2014, he hosted “Colin’s New Football Show” on ESPN2, as well as several shows on ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN Classic. He was the first co-host of his SportsNation on ESPN2. He joined his ESPN radio in 2004 when the show began as his one-hour West Coast broadcast. He also worked as a weekday sports presenter for KGW Northwest NewsChannel 8 and Sports Sunday.

Previous positions include Tampa’s sports host on WTVT-TV, hometown sports on ‘Buc Sunday’ for which he won an Emmy Award, and Las Vegas’s sports director on KVBC-TV, where he won the Nevada Sportscaster of the Year award three times. He started his career as a play-by-play broadcaster for the Las Vegas Stars of the Pacific Coast League.

Cowherd and his iHeartMedia launch a new podcast network, his The Volume, in February 2021. Former NFL athletes Aqib Talib (“Catchin’ Fades with Aqib Talib”), Cooper Manning (“Soup with Coop”), Jake Crane (“The JBoy Show”), and Chris Mannix (host of “Boxing with Chris Mannix”) appear on many of the other podcasts in this volume.
