I stumbled across the Gaither Christmas Homecoming, i don’t remember which one, and heard you singing, “The Christmas Song.” I have written a beautiful verse to substitute the “Santa” verse so that my daughter, Cayse, could sing it when we were on tour. To those that hear it, it really reminds them of the reason for the season. I wanted you to know the verse and see if you could bring it to life. The words are:
Oh can’t you hear, the Father say
Don’t let the lights and tinsel carry you away
The reason for this season is my Son
And in a stable as a Lamb He had to come……..

You could check us out on Facebook…. I am Judy Wooten Meyers my daughter is…. Cayse Woods…. ,my husband is Leonard (Len) Meyers Jr. We have been marariaed 54 years and have spent 30 of those years traveling to churches around the US, Canada, Trinidad, and Canada using drama musical productions as outreaches to communities. Thank you for your time. We live outside Raleigh, North Carolina
