Ed Young Biography

Ed Young is an American author, speaker, preacher, and the founder and senior pastor of Unity Church, an evangelical Christian megachurch in Grapevine, Texas. Telecast takes part in international operations such as Ed Young TV, C3 World, C3 Conference and Live Collaboration. It is also an Amazon and New York Times bestseller.

He went to Florida State University and majored in basketball. His work ethic earned him a scholarship to Houston Baptist University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He later attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, to study for a master’s degree in theology.

Ed Young Fellowship Church and Ministry

Ed received a call to ministry as a freshman at Florida State University. He later transferred to Houston Baptist University, where he had the opportunity to serve as pastor at his father’s church.

Young founded Fellowship Church in 1989, and in February 1990 the church’s leased building was finished. But to accommodate the growing congregation, it moved briefly to the Arts Center and, in 1996, to Irvine MacArthur High School.

In 1998 the church opened a barn on 141 acres in Grapevine, Texas. By 2003, the church’s first two satellite churches were in Fort Worth and Plano. In 2005, the Church opened another satellite center in Dallas, Texas.

The church has continued to grow since the explosion. To this end, he opened a satellite school in South Miami, Florida in May 2006, in Port North Florida in 2017, and in August 2018 at Journey Church in Norman, Oklahoma Open Norman Fellowship Church.

In 2010, Pastor Ed Young’s television series became the first religious program to air on E! The show is also available on Roku, EdYound.com, and Netflix.
