Giselle came to lime light in June 1997, when she got named co-host of Univision’s international morning show, Despierta América!, together with Rafael José, Neida Sandoval, Fernando Arau, and Ana Maria Canseco,. She earned the opportunity to host a Univision reality show named Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2007. The show as well has elements of America’s Next Top Model and American Idol and Miss Universe.
She later announced back in December 2013 that she was leaving the show to pursue other opportunities and hoped to produce her own TV show in the future. In January 2016, she then joined Telemundo as the host of Gran Hermano USA. After one season, the show got canceled. She got back to Univision in February 2017 to host Pequeos Gigantes USA and as well got back returned as presiding judge for Nuestra Belleza Latina’s 2018 season.
