She is a functioning chief of Asbury United Methodist Church. Janet and her significant other Frank are among the establishing groups of the congregation alongside their youngsters, Allie and Jack.

WBRC FOX 6 anchor and reporter veteran Janet Hall after serving for 40 good years at WBRC FOX 6 News, she has decided to retire at the end of August 2020. She had earlier told some of her friends that she will be retiring and described it as “freedom generally claimed by older adults.” She announced that it is a tough decision to leave the career, co-workers and viewers she loves but it is time to open herself to new adventures. However, she has not gone yet! She has work to do this summer and people to hug from a safe social distance.
