She began her weather career back in 2006 working as an intern with none other than Chief Meteorologist Mark Baden at WISN 12. She as well served with the WKOW Weather Team in Madison, Wisconsin known for having polished her on-camera skills. She as well interned at the National Weather Service in Sullivan, Wisconsin. “When I was at the National Weather Service, it was amazing to see what went into issuing watches and warnings,” she said.

She got certified as storm spotter and then joined Fox affiliate WDBD-TV back in 2009, she also covered the historic tornado outbreak of April 27th, 2011, major flooding along the Mississippi River, and even a snowstorm (for Jackson, that’s about 4 inches).

Back in 2012, she relocated to Springfield, Missouri, one year after an EF-5 tornado struck Joplin. She aired severe storms to snow and ice. Finally, she returned home to WISN 12 back in 2016. She is as well a member of the American Meteorological Society and has the National Weather Association TV Weathercaster Seal of Approval #1604075.
