Cho was next to a reporter at WPLG in Miami, Florida prior to moving to ABC News as a Chicago-based correspondent for ABC NewsOne, the network’s affiliate news service. Later, she co-anchored ABC’s overnight news program, World News Now, with Derek McGinty. During this time, she also worked as a correspondent and fill-in anchor for Good Morning America.

Cho began at WABC-TV on 6 July 2003, replacing Diana Williams at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. In the year 2011, Cho started anchoring the station’s new “First at 4:00” newscast, with David Novarro, filling the hour left vacant by the departure of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Furthermore, as of 2012, she continues to anchor the 6 p.m. broadcasts alongside Bill Ritter.

He passed away from colon cancer on 13 March 2009. Cho studied at Boston University, majoring in journalism as well as history.
