Nathan Locke’s Career
Locke transferred to Edgewood College in Elmore, Alabama for the college football season. After his 12th grade season, he decided to play college football at Fort Scott Community College in Kansas.
He spent one season at Fort Scott and was named to the KJCCC first team. He later transferred to Ohio University, where he played quarterback for the Bobcats for three years.
As the Bobcats’ starting quarterback, Nathan led Ohio State to a 25-14 overall record, leading the team to three consecutive bowl appearances: the 2017 Bahamas Bowl, the 2018 Frisco Bowl and the 2020 Fall Idaho Potato Bowl (January). .
As Canada’s top athlete, he became the first person to win the Jon Cornish Trophy, was the 2017 NCAA champion and won again in 2018. Growing up, Lock idolized Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre.
