Samantha Simmonds a British television presenter, newsreader, and journalist having served as a Sky News news anchor till July 2016. Back in 1995, she earned a postgraduate diploma in broadcast journalism from City University in London
She served as a reporter for local radio in Yorkshire after her graduation and then relocated to London and served as a producer for Channel Five News. She later joined BBC Breakfast, where she served for two years as a reporter and presenter for BBC London’s news programs. Bck in 2005, she left the BBC to join Sky News.
