Stacy got drafted in the 5th round by the St. Louis Rams. He later joined the New York Jets back in 2015, but later retired two years later due to injuries. He thereafter went on to play for the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Memphis Express. He was an All-State running back for Bibb County High School back in 2008, when the Choctaws registered a 9-1 regular-season record and lost to Lincoln in the second round of the AHSAA Class 4A playoffs. At Vanderbilt, he set a school record with 3,143 rushing yards before the St. Louis Rams selected him in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

 He then carried the ball once for 4 yards in the Rams’ first four games of his rookie season and got to finish the 2013 campaign having registred 973 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. After the Rams having been drafted running backs Tre Mason from Auburn in 2014 and Todd Gurley from Georgia back in 2015 in successive years, they traded Stacy to the Jets.

He then rushed 31 times for 89 yards and a touchdown when and broke his ankle on Nov. 12th 2015, against the Buffalo Bills. The Jets later released him on July 27th, 2016, the day that players reported for training camp. He shared his retirement on February 16th 2017, but he tried two comebacks. Back in 2018, he played in the preseason for the Canadian Football League’s Saskatchewan Roughriders, but he did not make the regular-season roster.

In 2019, he played for the Alliance of American Football’s Memphis Express and got to be the league’s first player to have rush for 100 yards in a game. He then got injured reserve when the AAF folded before completing its first season.
