Alan Ritchson Biography

Alan Michael Ritchson is an American actor, model, singer and songwriter who made his television debut as Aquaman on the CW superhero series Smallville (2005-2010). He received additional honors for his work as Thad Castle at Blue Mountain State University (2010-12). He even took back this role in the continuation of the series in 2016.

Born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, he attended Niceville High School and received his diploma in 2001. Joined Walton Community. The college in Okaloosa (now Northwest Florida State University) was a dual student from 1999 to 2003 and graduated with an associate’s degree in liberal arts. His television acting credits include the role of Arthur Curry (aka Aquaman) on Smallville, the role of a police officer in Nobody Like Me, and Nora Roberts’ role as Lucien Manet in “Midnight on the Bayou.” Additionally, his role in Smallville was the actor’s first time portraying Aquaman in a licensed live-action production. In 2009, she played a stripper in the third season of Head Case. Additionally, Ritchson appeared in CSI: Miami Season 8 Episode 19, playing a death victim.

He also appeared in the Season 3 episode of “90210” as the main character’s love interest. He has also appeared in various television shows such as Hawaii Five-0, What Will I Do (based on the Israeli variety show) and Nosedive. In 2017, he played the leading role in Blood Drive, and in 2018, he played the character Hank Hall/Hawk in Titans. However, it was announced that Allen will play Jack Reacher in the series of the same name.

Richson is also a Christian and often speaks about the importance of his faith. In January 2022, he founded his YouTube channel InstaChurch, where he talks about his faith. Despite his success in acting, Allen struggled with bipolar disorder and spoke publicly about it.
