Yancey met her husband Scott back in college in 1988. The duo later got married in 2000 in the US Virgin Islands on the island of St. John. The duo alater relocated moved from Park City, Utah to Las Vegas to start the Goliath Company, a real estate firm.

Amie is known to have designed, remolded, and sold over 1,000 homes for the Goliath Company. From 2011-2014, Amie together with Scott documented their business on the reality show, Flipping Vegas. Back in June 2019, Scott and together her sold a remodeled 1949 farmhouse in Malibu, California for $6.25 million to actress Reese Witherspoon.

Previously Scott and Amie used the property as a wedding venue. A two-acre estate, called Zuma Farms, is nestled in the foothills above Malibu’s Zuma Beach.
