Biography of Bill Johnson
Bill Johnson is an American Christian pastor, publisher, speaker, author, and senior pastor of Bethel Church in Redding, California, USA. He is a familiar face to many, as he has appeared on television shows on CBN and the Trinity Broadcasting Network, in Sid Rose’s “Supernatural” and in many faith-based documentaries.
When Bill joined in 1996, he saw his church grow from 2,000 members to 12,000 today. He openly advocated same-sex marriage, abortion, open borders, and many other issues.
Bill Johnson Early Life
Johnson attended John Wimber’s Conference in Miracles and Wonders in 1987 with a clear goal: to find out if there is a good cure. He was disappointed because he believed that John Wimber had preached the same thing and drew a very different conclusion. According to Johnson, this disappointment made him realize that faith must be risky, and it was only after the vision was fulfilled that the miracle of healing began to happen.
Also participated in various consecration revitalization meetings in Toronto in 1995. in Toronto, Canada. At these meetings, Johnson asked God to receive a new touch that would enable him to devote his life to seeking the Holy Spirit and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Johnson teamed up with Bethel Senior Vice President Kris Vallotton in 1998 to train students to be Pentecostal.
Johnson is a fifth-generation pastor and has been the Senior Pastor of the Bethel Church since 1996. He is experienced in church leadership and Christian development with the goal of finding the blessings and revelations of the Holy Spirit in everyday life. The simple reason why God is great.
