Brandon Kinard Career
Kinard is the sports director for NBC26. An accomplished athlete, he followed the Packers all his life. He is happy to be in his hometown and follow the team every year. Before joining NBC26, he was sports director at WAOW-TV in Wausau from 2015 to 2018. During that time, he received three Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Awards of Excellence, including first place for Broadcast Leave the Best Play in 2017.
Brandon represents the Packers at WAOW and also serves as the play-by-play announcer for WIAA boys and girls state basketball games. He also serves as a play-by-play announcer for the BEK Sports Network and various local radio stations. He became an active sportscaster during the Titans’ NCA Tournament in 2012.
