KTCK/ 1310 AM A few months after The Ticket went on the air in January 1994, Davidson joined the station as a manager. He studied radio and television at the University of North Texas, but it didn’t take long for him to realize his new career would be profitable.

“I quickly realized that I learned more from sleeping in the garage than anything else,” Davidson said. It was a bit of a learning curve when it came to using the clothes and all the old things we were using as we followed them around to do all the work. So what, I didn’t watch it.

In the autumn of 1994, he got his wish. He has a job board where he will spend the night during the weekend. I was hired at 22:00. It leaves at 6 a.m. on Friday evening. “Do the same thing on Saturday morning and Saturday night,” he said. Now, as the station celebrates its 25th anniversary, Davidsonco co-hosts its fall show The Hardline with DFW radio veteran Mike Rhyner. There were many stops along the way, but her big break came when Chris Arnold of Ticket fame hired her to host his 10 a.m. noon show.
While working weekdays, Davidson added responsibility for Saturday morning shows, such as golf show The Tee Box and Gordon Keith and Dave Lane’s popular show “The Rant.”
