Bell got promoted to work as a news director in February 2014 and as well served as the anchor of “NewsChannel 7 Today” for thirteen years. She enrolled and later graduated from the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications and after her graduation, she joined WJHG in June 1994.

While working d at WJHG, she reported on a number of stories such as; traveling to San Diego to follow a Panama City soldier injured in Iraq on his rehabilitation, and was on the from the front lines of many tropical storms and hurricanes, likeHurricanes Ivan, and Opal that damaged the area, and as well reported from the cockpit of an F-16 with the Air Force Thunderbirds.
