Elizabeth acted in minor roles in several films early in her career. After portraying Lou-Ann Poovie on Gomer Pyle. She recurred in a character on Gunsmoke as April and as Festus’s girlfriend. She also portrayed in many films such as the General Hospital in the role of Meg Baldwin and as Phyllis Curtis in Days of our lives.
In the 1960s she also appeared in Warner Bros television series including an episode titled ” Benefit of Doubt” starring Robert Colbert as Brent Maverick.
Elizabeth also recurred in other films such as 77 Sunset Strip, Hawaiian Eye, and Surfside 6, and also appeared in director Francis Coppola’s, Oscar-nominated Drama, The Conversation, and other films movies such as Everything is Ducky, starring Mickey Rooney, and Buddy Hacket.
For Love and Money with Kirk Douglas, Mitzi Gaynor, and Gig Young. Her papers, which include many scripts from the various films on which she recurred, are held at the Southern Historical Collection at the Chapel Hill of the University of North Carolina.
