Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian-American actress who rose to prominence as Isabelle Lightwood of the Lightwood family in Free Form’s drama series Shadowhunters. She also gained further attention for her television roles as Dulce in Cosita Linda and Stephaine Karam in Voltea pa ‘que te enamores. Her other notable roles include films and TV series such as Aurora (2010), With Love (2021 onwards), Tattooed Love (2015) and “Holiday in Santa Fe”.

Toubia was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, to Latino parents, but grew up in Brownsville, Texas. His mother is Mexican and his father is American of Lebanese origin. Toubia is a very talented child who started training as a dancer at the age of ten. She now knows how to dance classical ballet, belly dancing and flamenco. Toubia attended and graduated from Homer Hanna High School in his hometown.
