Jalang’o began as a radio host at Kiss FM back in late 2008 an in 2012, he joined Radio Maisha. Back in 2017 he left Radio Maisha and joined Hot 96 FM whwre he worked for one year and in 2018 he joined moving to Radio Milele. He went back from where he began his radio career at Kiss 100 radio back in July 2020, as a morning presenter together with Caroline Mutuko. Currently, he is the host of the Kiss 100 morning show alongside Kamene Goro.

His father later organized for fundraising to finance his high school studies. Friends and relatives came to his rescue and he was able to continue with his education.
