Prince Jide Kosoko studied Business Administration at Yaba Technical College. He started his acting career in 1964 as a child actor on television called Makanjuola. He has appeared in many British and Yoruba Nollywood movies.

Kosoko wrote and produced his own films and plays, including Ogun Ahoyaya. She came to prominence in the cinema era with the 1992 film “Asiri n la” and starred in “Asewo to re Mecca” and Tunde Kelani’s “Ti Oluwa Ni’Le part 2”.
