Released Marlon played in three games due to injury and redshirted his first year at USC in 2017. Malone started 10 of 12 games as a redshirt freshman in 2018. and recorded 4.5 sacks and 33 tackles. Malone had two sacks and 46 tackles in 12 starts in 2019. Malone returned as the starter in 2020.
