While working at WJLA-TV she reported on the September 11, 2001 attack, the 2000 presidential race, sniper attacks in the Washington, D.C area, and Bosnia peacekeeping efforts.
She later joined NewsOne where she worked as of (2003-2004) as a Washington-based correspondent before moving to ABC News as of (2005-2007). Working at ABC News, she served as a reported for all their broadcasts and covered major stories and news including the war in Iraq, the election (2004), and Hurricane Katrina.
Back in 2007, she joined CBS News working as a transportation and safety correspondent.
