Anderson was hired by Labatt brewing company as a spokesmodel to represent them in the 1989 BC Lions Canadian Football League game at the BC Place Stadium in Vancouver. During the game, she was featured on the Jumbotron while wearing the Labatt’s Beer T-shirt. Still, as a model, she was featured as Playboy’s Covergirl in 1989. She has played roles in several of reality television series including Big Boss, Dancing with the Stars, Bailando 2011 among others. As an animal rights activist, Anderson is a member of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, where she stripped down for PETA’s “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign. She has also been the spokesperson for FrogAds since 2012. The actress has participated in several campaigns fighting for animal rights. The campaigns include Save the Seals campaign against Seal hunting in Canada and Operation Sleppid Grindini, which monitors the activities of fishermen in the Faroe Islands.
