Nassif enrolled at Loyola High School (Los Angeles) and then joined the University of Southern California, graduating in 1984. Nassif thereafter joined Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/Chicago Medical School in his first two years of medical education. He afterwards enrolled at the University of Southern California School of Medicine for the latter two years where he graduated in 1992.
He as well interned in general surgery residency at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center that got was followed by an Otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency at the University of New Mexico from 1993 to 1997.
