Jarrett began his career as a popular actor, model, and model in South Florida. He played a bad barber in his first movie, the youth comedy “Summer Job”. Since then, she has briefly appeared in films such as “The Character”, “Miami Vice” and “Unsolved Mysteries”. Jarrett has also hosted numerous national television programs for USA Sports Network, including “Airplane,” “American Cars” and “Better Farming,” and co-produced a video game called “Boxercise” with world champion boxer Alexis Arguero.
In 1992, Jarrett moved to Los Angeles and began writing films. In 1997, “Act of Cheating” was made into a movie directed by Joey Travolta, based on the screenplay by C. Thomas Howell, James Russo and Brian Austin Green. Scott Reeves and Aaron Benward, country music duo Blue County, recruited Jarrett in 2004. The Off-Broadway premiere of his play Blind Date was held in November 2017 at The Production Center, produced by Love Creek Productions. In 2018, the production of Help Me Get You was the third Off-Broadway at the Downtown Arts Festival (DUAF) and was performed at the Boxfest Detroit Theater Festival.
In July 2018, his short play Socky Tells All was performed at the Carrboro Arts Center and the Cary Theater in Cary, North Carolina. Buzzkill was a finalist at the LaBute New Play Festival in 2018 and was produced by Nylon Fusion Theater Company in New York. He also won the Ten Minute Drama Award at the Renegade Theater Festival in Lansing, Michigan, in August.
