Steve worked for the ABC station in Phoenix as a multimedia journalist and anchor before moving to L.A. He as well spent time in Atlanta reporting for CBS. Steve has received several Emmy awards over the years, and has won for ‘Best On-Air Reporter.’ In high school, the Minnesota native discovered a passion for storytelling and journalism.

He took that passion, graduating with degrees in journalism and business, to the University of Minnesota. When not reporting, Steve loves tinkering with electronics, hitting the gym, hiking mountains, and scuba diving. He is also an authority on survival in the wilderness, and an Eagle Scout.

If you ever see him out on a story, feel free to go up and say “hello,” but be warned bad guys, Steve has a mixed-martial-arts second-degree black belt and has been doing karate since he was just 5 years old.
