Steven Novella an American assistant professor and clinical neurologist at Yale University School of Medicine. He hosts The Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe podcast and famous for his role in the skeptical movement. He is as well a Fellow of the Committee for GWUP and Skeptical Inquiry (CSI).

He studied, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), neurology, neuromuscular disorders, and neurophysiology, myasthenia gravis, and also the treatment of hyperactive neurological disorders.

Back in May 2005, Steven began The Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe (SGU) podcast with his friends Evan Bernstein and Perry DeAngelis, and his brothers Jay and Bob.

DeAngelis to the time his death back in August 2007 stayed on the show. Rebecca Watson back in July 2006, started featuring on the podcast as a regular staying through December 2014. Additionally, Cara Santa Maria, in July 2015 joined the cast. Novela both hosts the show and does the editing and post-production.
