Tyler Lepley is an American actor well known for his role as Benjamin Young on Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots.

Tyler Lepley Career
Lepley got discovered by a producer at a boxing Lepley and pushed him to audition. He had his main role in the independent horror film Slumber Party Slaughter after the meeting. Lepley then recommended him to take acting seriously and he joined classes, and made his acting debut in an episode of The CW’s 90210.
He later featured as Benny in Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots back in 2013. Perry got to the audition dressed as his renowned Madea personality since he was filming a movie at the time, that startled Lepley. He as well starred along with Paula Patton back in the 2013 comedy Baggage Claim. In 2016, he was featured in the lead role of Jaxon in the made-for-television film Ringside,that got aired on TV One in September 2016. He featured as a series regular back in 2019. He as well featured in the untitled Tracy Oliver film in 2020.
He as well took part in a number of sports, including track, football, basketball, karate, and boxing, but he later focused more on football. Tyler Dennis his high school football nickname, he got an injury back in June 2003 that almmost ended his football career, and he thereafter had surgery. He later got back by the summer of 2004 and got named MVP at a sports event.

Lepley enrolled and studied at Central Bucks High School West in Doylestown where he later graduated. He had a football scholarship and joined Kutztown University and was a member of the university’s football team till the end of 2007, when he alongide with his teamate got punished for assaulting and fracturing the jaw of an innocent man. He later graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Kutztown University in 2010.
