He was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft and served as Joe Flacco’s starting quarterback, including the Ravens’ win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII. Tyrod was signed by the Buffalo Bills as a free agent in 2015, served as their starting quarterback that season and appeared in the Pro Bowl.
In 2017, he helped the Bills make the playoffs for the first time in 17 years. He was traded to the Cleveland Browns in March 2018, and the Bills selected Josh Allen to replace him.
