Nair penned for Today’s Chicago Woman magazine and served as a reporter for Talk Radio News in Washington, D.C. She started off her career in television news working as a general assignment reporter at WGEM-TV, the NBC affiliate in Quincy, Illinois. She as well served WYCC-TV, Chicago’s PBS station, and Evanston Community Cable Channel, Illinois’ public, educational, and government access (PEG) cable TV station.
She later served as an anchor and reporter for KOLN/KGIN-TV in Lincoln, Nebraska, and anchored daily morning and afternoon newscasts. She thereafter served as the lead evening reporter and anchor at KWGN-TV, Denver’s CW affiliate. She later the station back in July 2004 and has covered a wide range of topics, such as the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation and the Bailey, Colorado school shootings.
She started working with ABC News back in December 2007 serving as an anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now. She as well anchored live coverage and news briefs for ABC’s digital network in that capacity.
