Catie Beck is an award-winning American journalist who currently works as a reporter for NBC News in Atlanta, Georgia. She joined She 11 in December 2013 from WTVR-TV, where she served as an investigative reporter from September 2009 to November 2013.
Baker attended Archbishop Spalding High School, a Catholic school in Severn, Maryland, and graduated in 1998. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and media studies from Fordham University and later earned a master’s degree in broadcast media from American University. In the fall of 2013, Catie taught broadcast media writing as an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Prior to joining WTVR-TV as an investigative reporter, Beck worked as a reporter for WCJB TV20 and News 8 Austin. He then moved to Atlanta, Georgia in December 2013 and joined WXIA NBC Atlanta as an investigative reporter; she worked there for three years until joining NBC News in January 2017.
