Casone has many years of expertise in financial business and customer news coverage. In addition to her reporting covering the US economies, she has written on the economic impacts of war on the economy, consumer bribery, financial markets, international investment, and corporate governance.

She served as a freelance business journalist for CNN prior to FBN, mainly reporting from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), and worked as a general assignment reporter for CBS Newspath. Casone moved to New York to work for MSNBC and NBC as an overnight and early morning news anchor.

Previously, for San Francisco’s KRON-TV (MyNetworkTV), she anchored a business show and worked as a business and general assignment reporter.
