Minj was a contestant on the seventh season of the reality television show RuPaul’s Drag Race , which premiered on 2nd , March , 2015 . She won three challenges throughout the tournament , the most notable of which was Snatch Game , in which she played Adele . Sam Damshenas of Gay Times later placed Eads’ Adele rendition as the sixth-best Snatch Game performance in Drag Race “ever .”
Minj finished third in the season , but was defeated by Violet Chachki . On 17th , June , 2016, she was revealed as one of 10 candidates for the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race : All Stars . She finished seventh in the third episode and was eliminated . In the season eleven premiere of Drag Race , she appeared as a guest for the first challenge .
Minj went on a number of international drag tours . She was a member of the Battle of the Seasons rotating roster of queens in 2016. She hosted the Haters Roast tour , but was controversially fired from the gig later on . In November , 2017 , Minj sponsored Queens United , a benefit organized by Phi Phi O’Hara to collect money for those devastated by Hurricane Maria .
Minj began her acting career as a kid actor in Christian films and audiobooks . She continued performing as an adult, starring in Clandestine Arts’ Avenue Q . On 7th , July , 2016 , she sang as the solo performer at the Trailblazer Honors for Harvey Fierstein with fellow All-Stars 2 queens . She worked on commercial bumpers for a Mama’s Family marathon alongside Katya and Alyssa Edwards .
