Krista Brodie Husband
Krista is married to her husband Dr. Dennis Filips . Her husband is a trauma surgeon , innovator , and entrepreneur . He was an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the National Defense University in Washington DC where he taught Healthcare Industry Studies , worked as a general/trauma surgeon , and as a course director for Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Tactical Medicine courses for the military and tactical police units . He retired from the Canadian Forces (CF) in 2008 after 20 years of service .
