This is the first photo Jaqi posted to Instagram, and she couldn’t believe the chain of events that followed. “I presented my idea to the girls that, if they were up for it, in addition to their dance classes and swim team practices they had every week, they could give modeling a try.”

The Clements family — which also includes Ava and Leah’s brother and their mom, Jaqi are on a search for a life-saving bone marrow transplant for Kevin. And the Clements twins are doing what they can to help their dad find a donor. Ava and Leah have partnered with DKMS, the world’s largest bone marrow center, in the hope of finding a match for Kevin.
After Kevin was diagnosed with leukemia and lymphoma, the girls made it their mission to help find him the perfect bone marrow match. They used their Instagram and encouraged their followers to get tested and their campaign, and Kevin’s story, went global.
“The response was awesome – I love them being able to use their platform to help other people as well,” Kevin said. “We partnered with DKMS, and it’s an ability to get yourself swabbed and find out if you are a donor and get on the registry.
“It’s an easy process to be a bone marrow donor, and I think a lot of people have this misconception that it is hard and painful, but it’s really not. “Having them have a chance to do that and to help me out, but also to help so many other people out, it’s amazing.”
