Back in high school in Honduras, she served at a radio station via the National Broadcasters Association of Honduras at age 17. She got to be hired in Tegucigalpa by Radio Suprema Stereo 99.5. and got trained for three months before hitting the airwaves.

She began hosting a three-hour-long live show as of August 1997. She began her professional career serving as a television journalist at the late-night newscast of KTLE-Telemundo in Midland-Odessa, Texas. She served as a reporter for an NBC affiliate and Telemundo KTLE’s sister station christened KWES-TV channel 9. She as well served in West Texas, in betwixt January 2002 and September 2003.
