Albert Einstein Biography
Albert Einstein was a German-born American physicist who revolutionized physics (the study of matter and energy and their interactions). The theory of relativity asserts that space and time are measured in relation to the motion of the observer.
Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany, but grew up in Munich. Some teachers thought he had a disability because he could not speak fluently (easily and gracefully) at the age of 9.
He was fascinated by the laws of nature and marveled at the invisible but real power that guided the compass. He started playing the violin at the age of six and never stopped. At the age of 12 he was fascinated by the obvious and ambiguous words in geometry. Einstein began studying mathematics (a type of advanced mathematics used to solve physics and engineering problems) at the age of 16.
